Chocolate-Peanut Butter Oat Protein Balls

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Oat Protein Balls

 

INGREDIENTS

1½ cups rolled oats
¼ cup vegan chocolate protein powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons chia seeds, soaked overnight in water, milk or plant-based milk
2 tablespoons chopped almonds or other nuts or seeds of choice
1 tablespoon of raw organic honey OR xylitol 
½ cup organic peanut butter
? cup dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes
A few tablespoons plant-based milk 

 

PREPARATION

In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix with clean hands.

Roll into about 5 palm-sized balls.

Wrap each ball individually in a beeswax food wraps  to help hold their shape, then freeze until set, 1 to 2 hours.

Unwrap the balls and refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to eat.
