Drugs Opdivo and Yevoy, which work in tandem, have been given an expanded listing on the PBS to include treatment for inoperable or unresectable malignant mesothelioma. The listing will start on 1 July, and federal Health Minister Greg Hunt expects 700 patients per year will benefit from it.
